Echoes from the Center for the Cause of Élisabeth Bruyère

Bannière Journal Échos

Vol. 39 No 2 - June 2020

The year 2020 provided a glimmer of the celebrations and the festivities planned for the 175th anniversary of the foundation of our Congregation. However soon the sunny sky was darkened by a very thick cloud: that of the fatal pandemic which sowed suffering and bereavement in its path. The Corona virus created havoc in all spheres of life: all public gathering venues are closed, schools, universities, churches and other. Nonessential businesses suffer the same fate. Quarantine, confinement, social distancing and public
health measures are legislated. It feels like we are living in another world.

Élisabeth Bruyère
Now my word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path.
Ps. 119:105
You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.
Albert Camus
