Notre-Dame Residence (Gatineau) celebrates, May, 2011

On May 1, 2011, Notre-Dame Convent is in a very festive mood as the group celebrates the Golden Jubilee of four companions: Sisters Claire Mireault, Rita Lupien, Jacqueline Perreault and Monique Beauchemin.

What a beautiful opportunity for us to sing our Magnificat with our companions and the personnel of the Notre-Dame Residence who were happy to celebrate the Eucharist with us.

As the celebration continued, our Animator, Sister Pauline Sabourin’s good humour and joviality gave us a proof of her ability to plan and to animate.

A surprise visit from the Director of the Residence, Mrs. Claudette Desmarais, who came in with flowers, strengthened our sense of belonging to this “family” of Residents.

As for us, the four Jubilarians, our gratitude is profound.  Such a celebration intensifies our need to give thanks to the Lord as well as our joy to be part of the wonderful Congregation of the S.C.O.  It also invites us to continue our journey with renewed fervour.
