THANK YOU Award

On Sunday, February 1, 2009, at the « Maison de la Culture » in Gatineau, Québec, Canada, Sister Marie-Ange Lemire, sco, received the THANK YOU award from Mr. Jean Hebert, president of the Board of Directors of the Health Care System and Social Services.  This award publicly highlighted our Sister’s dedication at the Hull Soup Kitchen.

The distribution of these awards underscores the contribution of several volunteers in the region and their commitment within the Health Care and Social Services Network.


The agency thus demonstrates how important is the commitment of thousands of volunteers who assist theSister Marie-Ange at the awards reception sick or those in need, youth and persons who are no longer independent.  In such a network where health care and social services are so much in demand, volunteers bring a quality of comfort and human warmth that is irreplaceable.
