150th anniversary of St. Joseph Parish in Orleans,
Ontario, Canada

A special invitation was extended to the Sisters to visit the display of sacred objects.  Several responded to that invitation.  The display consisted mainly (90%) of objects from the parish, with a few from the Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa.

The following objects were on display:

• vestments, chasubles and stoles;
• statues, photos, holy water fonts, decorations;
• altar ornaments, such as altar coverings;
• silver ware such as chalices, ciboria, ostensoria, candelabra;
• canopies for processions, banners;
• older missals and books of prayer.
