Campaign for Fraternity
During Lent, the Church in Brazil seeks to orient its theme to thoughts of peace, justice and the integrity of creation. This year the Campaign for Fraternity took as its theme Fraternity and the Defense of Life and as its slogan Choose Life, which allows them to touch the root issues of life: abortion, euthanasia, poverty and ecology.
In the Parish of Saint Barbara of Oeste, SP, a six person team under the coordination of Sister Iraci Virginia Gomes was invited by the town, on February 19, 2008, to speak about the problems that threaten life.
