A word from Mother Bruyère
October 17, 1845
I was just informed that Mrs. Aumond will leave tomorrow for Montreal; although it is quite late I want to benefit from this opportunity to give you news that may be more troublesome than pleasant, since most of the time, I either have requests to make of you or problems to share. However, I do not intend to discontinue this practice; it is to my advantage, and I know that I speak with a mother who loves her children tenderly.
