A word from Mother Bruyère
October 17, 1845
The new building will be ready to receive us in four to six weeks ; we will not be upset when the time comes to move in. In our present house, we are exposed to the four winds; there are gaps everywhere. We are very warm on one side and we freeze on the other. Every night, we must move our beds; it is most inconvenient, and I fear for the health of the Sisters.
