In very little time, our hospital will be on the same footing as our schools; the beginnings have been humble, difficult and costly for those who have been used to caring for the needy with abundant provisions, but the future seems more promising. I fear hard times, and we will not reach our goal without paying the cost; but whatever that may be, all is passing and we find our consolation in knowing that we do not serve a Master who is ungrateful and without mercy, much to the contrary…
