A word from Mother Bruyère

In the morning, the community prayed the meditation in the chapel; we sang at mass and, after mass, Father exposed the Blessed Sacrament while the Sisters sang the Pange Lingua. After the hymn, the entire community who received communion, as well as the boarders and the rest of the household stayed for a quarter-hour before the Blessed Sacrament, after which the Superior gave the signal to leave. The Sisters and those children who were named to remain in adoration did not move. Every hour of the day and of the night until Friday morning, two or three assigned Sisters with two orphans and two boarders were present.
