Bruyère Crossroads

At the Crossroads

Changing our name :
We were At the Crossroads 31 Bruyère:  it was the name we gave to Crossroads.  We have taken a new name since we moved to St. Paul University … while awaiting our return to the Mother House.  Henceforth, we shall be known as “Bruyère Crossroads”.

The Vision, Mission and Values of Bruyère Crossroads:

The vision of Bruyère Crossroads:

Bruyère Crossroads wishes to encourage human and spiritual growth so that all persons who participate may become freer and happier, thanks to:

a)  biblical, psychological and spiritual journeys

b)  services offered in parishes and elsewhere

c)  helping networks

It wishes through various means to bring together a community of disciples, joined through their faith in Christ.

The Mission of Bruyère Crossroads:

Inspired by the educational mission of Elisabeth Bruyère’s legacy, Bruyère Crossroads offers gatherings for reflection, for sharing, on the Word of God, on self-knowledge, on the spiritual life.

Bruyère Crossroads seeks to explore new pathways of evangelization, being attentive to the needs and cries of our wounded brothers and sisters.

Bruyère Crossroads is a place for conviviality, favouring listening, sharing, participation and mutual help.

The Values of Bruyère Crossroads:

- Respect for the story and the journey of each participant.

- Welcome of each person as a sacred being.

- Compassion

- Simplicity and openness in relationships.
