Élisabeth-Bruyère Province - Canada
On last April 27th, Sr. Noëlla Boisvert and three Associates went to Mandeville, diocese of Joliette, to present to the local Associates a summary of a conference given by Father Luc Tardif, o.m.i., during the ACSCO International Congress of 2009, on the Gospel according to Matthew.
The session turned out to be an enriching event for all! It was a com-forting expe-rience for this small group of Associates as they continue to make Mother Bruyère known and to exercise their compassion toward the young and the poor, even though there have been no SCO in that region since 2002.
One of the Associates, Mrs. Jeannette Morin, has committed herself to obtaining space to set up a Chapel in the Residence where she and her sick husband reside. Now, a significant number of residents gather everyday to recite the Rosary and/or for a visit to the Blessed Sacrament.
