The Elizabeth Bruyère Mission Fund is a goodwill organization registered with Revenue Canada since 1989. As a result, this organization can receive or solicit gifts to help the poor in those countries where our Sisters serve.
These gifts are distributed according to the expressed wishes of the donors and are destined particularly to the ministries of our Sisters with the most needy. Those who benefit from these gifts report on their use to the executive committee of the Mission Fund, who, in turn, presents an annual report to Revenue Canada.
Since this organization is registered (#88836 2449 RR0001), it issues charity receipts in view of tax deductions. A gift must be accompanied by the full name and address of the donor, including postal code. You need to specify the intention of your gift (e.g. school fees in Haiti; a well in Cameroon, the school where Sr (name of the Sister) teaches, to help in the formation of catechists, to support literacy programs, to obtain medication for poor families, etc.) Your gifts must be addressed to:
