January, 2008 – Three Sisters of Charity of Ottawa and a group of young Salesians launched a Youth Mission at Immaculate Conception Parish in Santa Barbara d’Oeste, SP.
February, 2008 – The Sisters and one young Salesian organised a post-mission gathering where 150 young people participated. Some proposals were spelled out in order to insure continuity.
We hope that young people will collaborate in the building up of the Christian Community as Pope Benedict XVI said to well : The Church needs you, as young people, to manifest to the world that face of Christ which takes shape in the Christian Community. Without youth, the Church seems disfigured.

We as Sisters of Charity of Ottawa seek to be attentive to the needs of our Diocesan Church by taking on the educational mission to young people.
