Spiritual Services

Our spiritual path

Following in the footsteps of Jesus and according to the spiritual path of St. Marguerite d'Youville and Elisabeth Bruyère, we are called to radiate the Father's love for the needy, the marginalized, those who suffer. Our communitarian spirituality finds its source in the French School of Spirituality.

Like all who are baptized, we journey to the Father through Jesus in the Spirit. However, our relationship of intimacy, trust and abandonment with God, Father and Providence, nourishes and sustains us to live in a spirit of love and openness toward all our brothers and sisters. In our contemplation of Jesus, we learn how to bring together communion with the Father and a life of intense activity. In Jesus, our crosses have meaning and spur us on to commitments that are freeing and life-giving.

Spiritual retreats

Our Lady of Providence Retreat House receives groups who wish to reflect, to pray, to grow in their faith. Its doors are also open to persons who wish to live a time of solitude, or prayer and recollection.

It offers seven-day retreats to religious communities, to its Associate members and to any person desirous of living these times of silence.

 Open House

In the various countries where we live our mission, those who wish are welcome to pray with us in our chapels, to share the Eucharist and to benefit from the atmosphere of solitude and prayer. The Elisabeth Bruyère Oratory and the Mother house chapel, both at 9 Bruyère Street, are particularly favorable as places of silence and prayer.
