I found my resemblance in the portrait you drew of the Superior who does not have the required qualities, and I am far from believing I have the virtues which you seem to imply I do possess. I sincerely desire to do what is right, but I am far from my goal; all my companions are so good and virtuous that, I hope, their example will lead me to a good end.
