A new plea to the Blessed  Virgin Mary, February 2, 1849

 

The building of a more spacious residence had become urgent in spite of financial straits.  On February 2, 1849, Mother Bruyère begged the Blessed Virgin Mary so that the building plans would go according to her wishes.  The undertaking was colossal for such a poor religious family.
