What is the mission of the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa?

The Sister of Charity of Ottawa

• reveals the compassionate love of the Father through works of charity, health care, education, pastoral work and service within the Congregation;

• is attentive to the needs of her times;

• offers to the Associates the opportunity to intensify their baptismal life through an apostolic commitment.

How can the Associates participate in the mission of the Congregation?

• through a Gospel commitment in a project in favor of the needy, youth, immigrants, those who have “been wounded in their life”;

• through a mission in education respectful of all persons;

• through faith sharing, prayer and reflection sessions;

• through their sufferings lived in union with Christ.
